A celebration of music and posters. This exhibition is the result of two decades of acquaintance with and impressions of the world of Kurtág. The master’s compositional methods (especially in the Games series), his unpublished gesture drawings and sketches, his musical notation using a unique visual sign system, and Andrej Tóth’s personal connection inspired the poster designs created through experimentation with cyanotype and collage techniques and gestural painting. György Kurtág’s sketches with their dynamic lines will also be on display. During the exhibition, works of graphic design students at Budapest Metropolitan University, inspired by Kurtág’s musical world, will also be on display at BMC.
